Description
Chief Engineer required for a 10,000 DWT oil products tanker working as a bunker vessel in the Gulf
of Guinea, West Africa, based at Lomé anchorage. Main engine: Wärtsilä 8L38 (4-stroke, 5,280 kW).
Contract duration 6 months, salary USD 9,000 - 10,000 per month.
Requirements
• Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (STCW III/2)
• At least 3 contracts in rank as Chief Engineer
• Tanker experience and valid tanker endorsements (oil)
• Experience with 4-stroke medium-speed main engines (Wärtsilä preferred)
